Short CV:
Dr Vincent Aranzana-Climent undertook his doctoral studies in Poitiers, where he studied pharmacockinetic/pharmacodynamic evaluation and modelling of antimicrobial combinations. During his studies he had the opportunity to be an intern in Leiden (Netherlands) and Uppsala (Sweden) where he was a post-doctorate for 2 years, in the Pharmacometrics group before going back to Poitiers in November 2021.
His research focuses on expanding our understanding of antimicrobial therapy through pharmacometric modelling. He studies both the pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic aspects of therapy with a particular interest in developing methods to combine data from multiple different experiments to enable preclinical to clinical translation and model informed precision dosing.
