Short CV:

Michael BURTIN (born 30/01/1999, France) is a PhD Student in pharmacometrics at the University of Poitiers, School of Medicine and Pharmacy, in unit UMR 1070 « Pharmacology of Antimicrobial Agents ». Recruited in 2024, he is currently working on CAPOIERA project. He is mainly involved in PBPK Modelling and Hollow Fiber experiments.

His academic training provided him with a solid knowledge and technical know-how in microbiology and pharmacological modeling. He has also developed skills in vaccinology during his Master’s degree internship at Bordeaux population health institute.

The aim of the CAPOIERA project is to optimize the use of antibiotics for Nosocomial cerebro-meningeal infections through PBPK/PD models from in vitro hollow-fiber data.
