Dr. Julie Cremniter (born 05.11.1971.) is associate professor of Bacteriology and Hygiene at the University of Poitiers, School of Medicine and Pharmacy, and Hospital Practitioner. She received his MD (2007) and his Ph.D. (2009) in Microbiology from the Paris Descartes University.

She has published articles (H-index =12 and i10 score = 12 according to Google Scholar) in relation to resistance to antibiotics of Gram positive bacteria such as E. faecium and S. epidermidis until 2010 then she studied the gastric inflammatory response to Helicobacter pylori infection in humans and in vitro models. Since january 2020 she joins the laboratory of the INSERM unit U1070 Pharmacology of Antimicrobial Agents, she is particularly interesting by the bacterial resistance and antibiotics to optimize the treatment to prevent the emergence of bacterial resistance.

She is a member of the scientific comitee of the French Pneumococcus surveillance network (Observatoires Regionaux des pneumocoques, ORP).
