Research Area : Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Animal experimentation
Short CV : Jérémy Moreau (born 15.06.1998, France) is an engineer assistant in preclinical experiment (in vitro and in vivo) at the INSERM U1070 unit. He has been hired in 2019 to work on two European preclinical projects. With now 4 years of experience in the U1070 unit, Jérémy Moreau can perform most of the techniques performed in the lab in Microbiology, Molecular Biology and Animal Experimentation. He is currently training in microbiology new students and technical staff at their arrival in the unit.
Technical skills Molecular Biology : RNA and DNA extraction and purification, reverse transcription (RT), real-time quantitative PCR (SYBR Green), digital PCR (dPCR), Sequencing, Bacterial conjugaison, Mutant creation.

Microbiology: Growth curve, Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC), Time Kill Curves (TKC), Checkerboards.

In vivo experiment : Surgery experiment (rat catheterization), microdialysis experiment, murin infection models (lungs, muscle, intra-peritoneal, prostate infections).

Main recent publications: (pubmed, Orcid ) PKPD Modeling of the Inoculum Effect of Acinetobacter baumannii on Polymyxin B in vivo.
