Short CV :

Gwenael Le Moal is an associate Professor of Infectiology at the University of Poitiers, School of Medicine and Pharmacy, and Hospital Practitioner, Head of the infectious diseases and Tropical unit at the University Hospital of Poitiers. He obtained his M.D. in October 1999.

He has published more than 100 articles (H index 22) primarily on his preferential 2 topics : HIV care and prosthetic bone joint infection.

He is particularly interesting by the diffusion of antibiotics in bone to optimize the treatment and prevent the emergence of bacterial resistance.

He is a member of the french infectious diseases society (Société de Pathologie Infectieuse de Langue française, SPILF) and of the national scientific committee of reference Centers for Complex Osteoarticular Infections.
