Dr Bertrand Drugeon (born 08.04.1989) is an emergency physician at Poitiers University Hospital. He received his MD in 2017 from the University of Poitiers and is currently a PhD student in clinical research. His work focuses on the prevention of complications related to peripheral venous catheters, in particular the prevention of infectious complications through skin antisepsis and the use of innovative equipment and technology for vascular access management. By reducing the occurrence of complications, he is also studying the medical and economic impact of the devices used in his research.
