Short CV:
Adrien Baillod (born 07.02.1999, Switzerland) is a PhD Student in Chemistry and Microbiology at the University of Poitiers, School of Medicine and Pharmacy, in unit UMR 1070 « Pharmacology of Antimicrobial Agents ».
Recruited in 2023, he is currently working on DACOSID project. He is mainly involved in synthesis of new antifungal agent, activity characterization on fungi clinical strain. His academic training provided him with a solid knowledge and technical know-how in chemistry and microbiology. He is familiar with Time Kill Curve and Minimal Inhibitory Concentration assessments and he has developed during his Master’s degree internship in unit UMR 1070 « Pharmacology of Antimicrobial Agents » strong skills about microbiology and nanoparticles formulation.
Project involvement:
DACOSID
The aim of the DACOSID project is to bypass efflux pump resistance of fungi through the synthesis of new molecule by linking siderophore to azole molecule.
