🔎 What’s new?
We developed and validated a novel hollow-fiber setup that enables in vitro simulation of mono-compartmental pharmacokinetics with an absorption phase, requiring only the addition of a programmable infusion pump to the traditional experimental setup.
✅ Key Result
We successfully replicated cerebrospinal fluid concentrations of linezolid observed in intensive care unit patients.

This tool supports optimization of antibiotic dosing regimens by accurately simulating:
• Drug concentrations at infection sites
• Plasma concentrations after oral or other extravascular administration
