Short CV:

Mihaly Leiwolf is a PhD Student in pharmacometrics and machine learning at the University of Poitiers, School of Medicine and Pharmacy, in unit UMR 1070 « Pharmacology of Antimicrobial Agents » in collaboration with the laboratory U1248 « Pharmacology and Transplantation » in Limoges. Recruited in 2024, he is currently working on the model-informed precision dosing of beta-lactams in intensive care using population pharmacokinetics and machine learning.

He is pharmacist by training with an Msc in Pharmacokinetics.
His academic training Pharmacy & Master’s degree internship in Sanofi and Servier provided him with a solid knowledge and strong skills in pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, and clinical pharmacometrics.

Project involvement:

STP-BRIOCHE

The aim of the STP-BRIOCHE project is to develop new model-informed precision dosing approaches applied to four widely used antibiotics in ICU to increase their efficacy and decrease their toxicity. The best methods developed in this project will be made available to routine hospital use in the form of free and easy to use software.
