Farras Daffa IMTIYAZ (born 21.11.1997, Indonesia) is a PhD Student in microbiology at the University of Poitiers, School of Medicine and Pharmacy, in unit UMR 1070 « Pharmacology of Antimicrobial Agents ».

Recruited in 2023, he is currently working on PAANIC project. He is mainly involved in developing lipid nanoparticles loaded with either terpene alcohol or fatty acid as colistin adjuvant against 3 ESKAPE bacteria such as Klebsiella pneumoniae, Acinetobacter baumannii, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa.

His academic training provides him with solid knowledge and technical know-how in microbiology, molecular biology, animal experiments, histology, and microscopy techniques. He did his master’s degree research project at The Center of Excellence for Shrimp Molecular Biology and Biotechnology (CENTEX SHRIMP) at Mahidol University, Bangkok.
